Kalmia Hill Arts

Kalmia Hill Arts is a home art studio in Cecil County, Maryland where Stacy Doney lives and works. Kalmia latifolia, Mountain laurel, grows throughout the woods around her home.

Stacy’s first book, What Flies Away: a Book of Poems, published by Tivshe Publishing, will be released April 30th, 2023, with illustrations by Amber Jakola.

What Flies Away is a book of poems and illustrations that explores, through the language of the cycles of nature, the human need for belonging and connection.

Stacy’s visual art has appeared in the Cecil College Galleries, the Cecil County Arts Council Gallery, and The Palette and the Page Gallery, all in Cecil County, MD as well as the Street Road Gallery in Cochranville, PA. Her papercut art appears in a digital serialized novel, The Black Seed, available on Patreon.
